National Association of Case Management - NACM

National Association of Case Management - NACM NACM recognizes the vital role of the direct service Case Manager.

The purpose of NACM, a not-for-profit organization, is to provide case managers, service coordinators, supervisors, and program administrators with an opportunity for professional growth and for the promotion of case management. NACM accomplishes these goals through educational meetings and conferences, news and communications, and policy development that continues the definition and refinement of

the case management process. NACM is particularly relevant to direct service case managers and service coordinators working with adults and children in the mental health, development disabilities, and substance abuse fields, as well as those working with people with physical disabilities, older adults, and other populations. Case management is one of the fastest growing and essential interventions utilized in mental health, development disabilities, substance abuse and other human service fields. Many human service systems rely on case management as the critical component that assures that vital human service needs are met and consumer desired outcomes are achieved. NACM focuses on enhanced skill development for the case management practitioner while providing special attention to the improvement of administrative systems and research that informs the practice of case management . NACM has played an important role as an advocate for continued community support services and use of consumer-centered case management as a primary tool in serving people with disabilities. This has been and continues to be particularly important during times of uncertainty when the emphasis on health care reform and changes in reimbursement can dramatically affect resource availability and access for persons needing services.

We are thrilled to announce Conference Keynote Speaker, Dave Raymond, Hero of Happiness. Dave's Keynote address is on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

From college student to an iconic figure in sports entertainment, Dave Raymond broke new ground as the original Phillie Phanatic.
For 16 years, his innovative approach to the art of mascots transformed the Philadelphia Phillies and propelled the Phanatic into global stardom, forever changing the mascot industry.

But Dave’s true passion goes far beyond the green fur. Building on the insights he gained from this one-of-a-kind experience, Dave transitioned seamlessly into entrepreneurship, founding Raymond Entertainment Group nearly two decades ago. Through his company, he’s reimagined character brands for Fortune 500 companies, sports teams, and universities, and launched the Mascot Hall of Fame in 2005. Yet it is his dedication to teaching how fun can fuel genuine well-being that truly sets him apart.

In his keynote, The Evolution of Happiness!®, Dave shares how fun isn’t just an idea, it’s a proven process. While many discuss the value of fun, Dave lived it. He introduces his Power of Fun® process, a roadmap to sustainable happiness, improving both personal and professional lives with ease. His mission? To inspire others to embrace joy as a critical tool for lasting fulfillment, health, and productivity.

Dave is a highly sought-after keynote speaker, author, and brand consultant. His work has been highlighted on ABC, HBO, NPR, ESPN, The New York Times, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Now, Dave is the subject of a new documentary, due out in 2026, titled Big Phan!

WOL855 – Where Did All the M**h Come From? Strategies and Tactics for Managing the Next Drug Epidemic

Date: April 9, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (EDT)
Training fee: Free to attend.
For attendance and CEs/certificate - $25

Instructor: Mark G. Fuller, MD, FACP, FASAM

Along with the alarming number of annual drug overdose deaths, methamphetamine- related ones have increased by 300%. The recent pe*******on of methamphetamines into all sectors of the population has resulted in an unprecedented number of overdoses and demand for treatment. M**hamphetamine is an addictive and potent central nervous system stimulant with powerful effects on the human mind. Unlike opioids and alcohol, methamphetamine use disorder has no FDA-approved pharmacologic treatment. And, as individuals suffering from this disorder flood into treatment settings, many clinicians find themselves unprepared to implement effective treatment strategies. This workshop will address the factors behind the current epidemic while identifying the most effective treatment and policy strategies for addressing this crisis.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Define the key contributors to the current wave of methamphetamine use in the U.S.
- Compare and contrast the various clinical interventions for effectively addressing stimulant use disorder.
- Assess the effectiveness of the current drug policy for this epidemic.
