Transgender and nonbinary friends, this one's for you! Becoming Us is a group for anyone who identifies as transgender or gender expansive, or is working to explore their gender identity. Whether you're newly on your journey, or long into your transition, this group is open to anyone no matter where you are in your process. Connect with others. Open to adults 18+. New faces are always welcome, and door greeters will help direct you to our space. We can't wait to see you there!

This Monday!
Parenting a LGBTQ+ youth? Or are you an LGBTQ+ parent, caregiver, or family? Raisng pride is the group for you! This group is for discussing the intersectionality of q***r identities and parenting. Connect with other parents, talk about the joys and challenges of being a child's first advocate, supporter, and mentor.

This month our meeting time has adjusted due to the Labor Day holiday. This month's meeting is on September 14th at 7pm, meeting in-person at Prism LGBTQ+ Community Center.

Regular monthly meetings are the 1st Monday of every month.

Come with questions, back to school wins and worries. New parents and caregivers are always welcome!

Love to get lost in literature? Excited to read authentic LGBTQ+ media?

This week is your time to connect, as part of our Rainbow Readers LGBTQ+ book club. We read LGBTQ+ stories and authors of a variety of genres.

Rainbow Readers meets this Thursday September 10th at 7pm via Zoom. This month we're discussing Affirming Imogene by Desiree Moore. Reminder that the first meeting of the month includes spoiler-free discussions, so join us to talk no matter where you are in the book. Full book discussions take place 2 weeks later. Teens (age 14-18) This Wednesday is for you! Join us for Queeriosity, a connection, social, and learning space for teenagers who identify within the LGBTQ+ community or who are questioning their identity and want a space to bring those questions. Next meeting is this Wednesday September 9th from 4-6pm.

New faces are always welcome! Look for our door greeters along the right side of the front of the building. They'll direct you back to our space. Bring a friend, bring questions or topics of interest, or simply bring your authentic self. We can't wait to meet you!

In case you missed it: Prism has begun offering free Harm Reduction and Overdose prevention supplies in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day on Monday.

Harm reduction is an approach that allows us to meet community members where they are, and keep them safer and alive.

Looking to obtain a free dose of Naloxone (Narcan) spray, xylazine test strips, or fentanyl test strips? Fill out our request form here https://forms.gle/Ly3amWkLnHFj8jJQ9 arrange a time for pickup. Kits are also available for anonymous pickup during all group meeting times at Prism.

We talk challenges, share experiences, and celebrate trans joy together. We'd be happy to welcome you to our shared space:
