Pennsylvania municipalities are clearing out their fleets, and there are some genuinely solid trucks in the mix right now. A comparable used machine purchased outright can run $12,000 to $18,000, with annual ownership costs between $3,000 and $5,500. The crossover arrives at 7.5 months of equivalent use.
