Milling will begin next Tuesday 6/30 and continue through the week on the following roads:

-S. Sanatoga Road
-Lynn Drive
-Wendy Drive
-Kenny Road
-Brookside Road

Paving of those areas will occur the following week beginning 7/6. Affected residents have been notified via letter.

We request that all vehicles and accessories (basketball nets, etc.) be removed from the street and curb so the project may proceed with as little conflict as possible.

As with any road construction project, there will be some inconvenience. We will make every effort to minimize the impact. For your safety and protection, please keep yourself and children away from all heavy machinery, even during non-working hours when the equipment is parked. In addition, please obey all work zone traffic control signs, detours, and directives around the jobsite.

Please understand that some delays may occur during this project. This is a tentative schedule and is very dependent on agreeable weather conditions.

There will be unscheduled testing happening TODAY at the Limerick Clean Energy Center.

There is no emergency or cause for concern.

HAPPENING TODAY: We just received notice from Constellation that they will be performing unscheduled testing throughout the day today (Wednesday, June 24th) on the emergency warning sirens surrounding Limerick Clean Energy Center (formerly known as "Limerick Generating Station"). There is no emergency or cause for concern.

The warning siren system consists of sirens located in the 10-mile radius around Limerick Clean Energy Center in Montgomery, Chester, and Berks counties. In a real event, the sirens are not a signal to evacuate, but a warning to tune to a local Emergency Alert Broadcast television or radio station.

Monetary donations can be sent via venmo to -janicki and will also be used to purchase water for our first responders at the end of the week.

**Water and Gatorade Collection**

This week we are thrilled to partner with Zenon Janicki and The Community Trailer accepting donations of bottled water and Gatorade to help keep our firefighters and fire police hydrated while responding to emergencies during the warm summer months.

Another HOT one today!! Stay cool and stay safe!! Here are your hot weather reminders:
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day

⚠️🔥 One day left of the oppressively hot and humid conditions to close out the week. A few severe thunderstorms will be possible again this afternoon and evening, but not everyone will get a storm. It will turn much less humid for Saturday, but high temperatures will remain in the upper 80s to near 90°.

If you must spend any extended time outdoors today, make sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks. Stay cool out there, and remain alert for changing conditions this afternoon and evening!

Montgomery County has issued a CODE RED HOT WEATHER EMERGENCY

Temperatures are rising, and it's important to take precautions to stay safe in the heat.

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
🌳 Seek shade or air-conditioned spaces when possible
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
🧴 Use sunscreen and reapply as directed
🏃 Limit strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest hours (10 a.m.–4 p.m.)
👶👵 Check on children, older adults, and neighbors who may be more vulnerable

Know the signs of heat-related illness: dizziness, headache, nausea, excessive sweating, or confusion. If symptoms become severe, seek medical attention immediately.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay safe!

One of the first signs of heat illness is muscle cramps, so if you start cramping up it's time to act:

— Get someplace cooler, stat ☃️
— Remove excess clothing 👋
— Drink a cool sports drink 🧃
— Avoid caffeine/alcohol 🚫🍸

Seek medical help if your cramps don't go away in an hour, you have heart problems, or you are on a low-sodium diet.
