Our National FFA Convention attendees are serving dinner this evening at the Potter Valley Community Unified School District Elementary Back to School Night! The spread is a variety of pastas paired with green salad, a roll, a cookie and lemonade.

$15/plate or 4 plates for $50

Member Shoutout from the Weekend!

Up in Covelo, 8th grader Bailey Giuntini competed for Round Valley CommunityRodeo Queen and won. She raised money for the rodeo through ticket sales, gave a speech and competed in a horsemanship pattern. This weekend was a great place for Bailey to showcase her hard work and dedication.

Down in Santa Rosa, Junior Maren Neumiller competed with her sheep and goats at The Final Drive jackpot. Maren won Reserve Champion Showman. As well, her and Jeff, a market lamb, placed 2nd in their market class. This summer Maren spent quite a bit of time showing her sheep and goats around the state!

Our members passions drive their success outside of the classroom and even outside of the blue jacket.

Tonight was our 1st Annual FFA Benefit Harvest Dinner hosted by the Potter Valley Parks & Recreation. We want to send a HUGE thank you to the amazing crew who hosted this dinner: Katie & Mike Delbar, Casey & Kathy Burris and Tylene Johnson.

Potter Valley FFA had an amazing time over the last week at the 2026 Redwood Empire Fair. Our 21 members (biggest group in many years) showed across five different species.

After barn clean up on Sunday, we celebrated accomplishments with the Award Ceremony. Our member Kristen Helms led the Ceremony with 4H showman Bridget Aiello. They were assisted by Hailey Silva and Maren Neumiller.

During awards, many shoutouts were given to showmanship and market awards. In Large Animal FFA Round Robin - Maren Neumiller wom 1st and Kristen Helms won 5th. Both great accomplishments!

Another highlight was our chapter winning FFA Clean Stall! We had a great week and are incredibly proud of all of the hard work from our members.

Our Redwood Empire Fair Show Team Members are incredibly thankful for every buyer that supported at the Mendocino County Junior Livestock Auction on Saturday. We want to share a special thank you to the buyers that purchased an animal from our members!

Incoming Senior Nayeli Valencia switched her path this last year from raising market steers to market hogs. With that, she applied for the Golden State Ag Foundation Harvest of Merit Scholarship. When the announcement came that she was awarded this scholarship it secured her to move forward with her market project.

This week Nayeli showed her No Limit Genetics market hog at the Redwood Empire Fair in Ukiah. She won first in her Market Class and 6th in Novice Showmanship.

Today she sold her beautiful hog to the Eddie Ranch during the Junior Livestock Auction. It has been a wonderful year as we watched Nayeli grow through her projects.
