Washington County Library Washington County Library serves a County population of 22,000. It is located in the center of Potosi Story hour on Thursday mornings at 10:30-11:30. No charge.

Fax Machine .25 cents a page to send. To receive a fax .10 cents a page. Photocopies .10 cents for front & .15 cents for the front & back. Copies from computers .10 cents black & white & .15 cents for color. Community Rooms for clubs & organizations. Laminator: Prices varies according to size.

Thank you so much to Kingston K-14 School District-Home of the Cougars for having the Bookmobile out for Career Day earlier this week! We had so much fun talking with the kids and teachers about the Bookmobile, Library, being a Librarian and answering all of the fun and thoughtful questions you all had! 📚🧡

The theme for the 2026 Summer Reading Program is “Unearth a Story”. The program will begin on Monday, June 15th, and will run through Friday, July 24th. Preschool (beginning age 3) through six grade are eligible to participate in the summer reading program. Reading folders may be picked up at Washington County Library on or after Monday, June 15th. Registration will close on Monday, June 29th. Come join the fun!
In Summer School! You can still join the fun! Sign up for the Summer Reading Program, check out your books to read and come to the events after Summer School.
