With the potential for Day Habilitation funding cuts, we believe it is more important than ever to share the real stories and faces of those who would be directly impacted. With permission from the individuals we serve, we are sharing their stories to highlight why programs like ours matter. These stories represent independence, dignity, connection, and opportunity—and they show why these critical services must be protected. We hope our representatives will see the profound impact Day Habilitation programs have and understand why these funding cuts cannot move forward.
Please share this in hopes that lawmakers and possibly even the news will see that our individuals do matter and the impact that funding cuts with have on them.
