Eloy Alvarado and Cristobal Estrada have been arrested again for Criminal Trespass. They were found in the dumpster behind Lowe's, where they were found throwing items out and creating a significant mess.

Yesterday, we assisted the Pleasanton Police Department with the apprehension of Alexander Sanchez Jr. relative to an arrest warrant for Unlawful Production or Distribution of Certain Sexually Explicit Media.

With summer approaching, the Poteet Police Department wants to ensure the safety of our community's children.

To help prevent accidents, the Police Department is offering free gun locks to the public. We encourage you to stop by and pick one up to help keep our children safe.

Poteet ISD students are currently holding a car wash at Dairy Queen to raise funds for prom. The cost is $10 per wash, and they will be on-site until 2pm today.

This morning, we made contact with Eloy Alvarado at Dollar General regarding an unrelated incident. During this contact, he was reminded of his active Criminal Trespass warnings for Lowe's Market and Family Dollar.

Despite this warning, Mr. Alvarado subsequently went to the Family Dollar, where he was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

Early this morning, our office received a report of narcotics activity at a vacant residence located in the 200 block of 5th Street. Upon investigation, officers discovered that several individuals had illegally entered the property.

The homeowner was contacted and confirmed the residence was vacant and that no one had permission to be on the premises. As a result, George Martinez, Joseph Esparza, Kimberly Croft, Wanda Woods, Ramiro Herrera, and Severo Mireles were arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office for their assistance at the scene. We also want to thank the individual who reported the activity for their vigilance.

While the day shift often receives snacks and goodies, we wanted to make sure the night shift dispatch was also recognized. We decided to treat the night shift to Whataburger.

We have been a little busy today..

David Trevino was arrested after being discovered in the city’s wastewater treatment facility. When officers attempted to speak with Mr. Trevino, he fled and resisted arrest. Following a successful taser deployment, he was handcuffed; however, he continued to resist and assaulted an officer.

Mr. Trevino was subsequently placed in leg shackles, at which point he became calm. He was evaluated by EMS and then chose to comply. Mr. Trevino was transported and charged with Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on a Peace Officer.

Eric Cruz was arrested for Terroristic Threat after he threatened to kill one of his neighbors.
