Over 20 local seniors joined us to transform thrifted teacups into scented treasures while building something even more valuable: connection. While people choose HomeShare for many reasons, the heart of our mission is tackling the loneliness and isolation many seniors face. By bridging the gap to home-sharing, we aren't just helping neighbors utilize their space; we are fostering meaningful, long-lasting friendships that turn houses into true homes.

Missed the fun? We have more workshops planned throughout 2026, made possible by the generous funding of the Region 1 Idaho Behavioral Health Board. You can stay updated on all our upcoming gatherings by visiting the Events Tab on our website. We can’t wait to see you there and continue growing this incredible community together!

Do you have excess ribbon or teacups? Donate them to Home Share. Along with supplies for these workshops, we also present volunteer made match candles for successful matches. To donate items or be apart of our candle making party for matches, email [email protected]
