At last evenings Fire Commission meeting, Chief McQuillen recognized several individuals on their recent accomplishments. Deputy Chief Egan was sworn in as the new Deputy Chief of EMS and Training. Newly promoted Lieutenant Cole was also sworn in. Finally we had 3 firefighters successfully pass their probationary year and were sworn in as permanent members of the department. Congratulations to Firefighter Marra, Firefighter Hazelwood, and Firefighter Will.

8/5/2026 - Heat and humidity return and persist, with Heat indices reaching 100 in some areas Thursday. Thunderstorms possible Thursday and Friday.

6/30/26 - Dangerous "feels-like" temperatures to start Wednesday. Extreme Heat Watch in effect for parts of NH. Thunderstorms, hail, and showers possible this afternoon through Friday.

We would like to congratulate Firefighter Jim O’Brien on his retirement after completing his final shift this morning. Jim served the department for over 22 years. We hope you enjoy your well deserved retirement.
