Community Action Organization of Scioto County Head Start/Early Head Start Scioto County CAO Head Start/Early Head Start provides free preschool and Early Childhood Education services to income eligible families, age birth to 5.

Head Start is a comprehensive child development program offering preschool children a program of education, medical, dental and nutrition services. Children and families are also offered social services though our program. All services are offered as a means to enhance the ability of low income children to successfully compete in the public school system. Call for eligibility information and appointment

You Don’t Have to Do It Alone.

Parenting and/or caregiving for a child with autism can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Come spend some time with families who understand the joys, challenges, questions, and everyday realities of your journey. While the kids stay entertained, you can connect with other parents and caregivers, discover helpful resources, enjoy some snacks, and enter to win fun giveaways.

We’ll also have an incredible group of agencies and organizations joining us, including:
