The Rotary Club of Portsmouth is an organization of business and professional leaders united to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 160 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 30,000 Rotary clubs. The Portsmouth Rotary Club's membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The meetings are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

Now that the Rotary Fish Fry is over, we have a lot of people to thank. Thanks to Valley Wholesale Foods for providing us with the delicious Fish filets, cole slaw, fries and tartar sauce that we all enjoyed and for being such a great community partner with Rotary for so many years! Their level of service and quality was exceptional!

The month of August completely flew by. However, we could not let it slip by and not mention the amazing presentations we had at Rotary Club.
On August 10, we had the Portsmouth Health Department.
On August 17, we had Amanda Lewis with the Trillium Project.
On August 24, the Club went to Toro Loco for lunch.
On August 31, we had Sharee Price from the ESC present and update the club on this past school years accomplishments.
