Have you checked out our latest exhibit in the Warehouse?

Designed by our Director, Nan Bulger, “Enduring Witness to History” tells the story of the Moffatt-Ladd House and Portsmouth from the late 18th-century to the present day. Through engaging panels, the exhibit explores generations of the Moffatt family, including family members who served in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars.

The exhibit also features an interactive AI experience that brings history to life. Hear Katherine Moffatt and William Whipple share their stories in their own voices.

Stop by and discover how one family’s story reflects the broader history of Portsmouth and the nation.
