During the last weekend in May, Scioto County Special Olympics athletes from the adult Shooting Stars Team, who qualified, traveled to Columbus to compete in the Special Olympics Ohio Summer Games bowling tournament.

We are proud to share that all of our competitors placed in their events, with two athletes earning bronze medals in their respective divisions!!

Congratulations on a great weekend of competition! Thank you to the coaches, staff, and supporters who helped make the experience possible. 🎳🥉👏

🎉 On Friday, May 29, Legends League athletes were honored at a dance party-themed awards banquet celebrating their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the season.

Athletes and their families enjoyed an evening filled with music, dancing, and great food as coaches and volunteers served pizza, chips, beverages, and sweets to a large crowd of deserving participants.

A huge thank you goes out to all of the coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters who helped make this special event possible. Most importantly, congratulations to our amazing athletes for their commitment, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm. We are proud of each and every one of you!
