What do REO Speedwagon's Hi Infidelity, The Lumineers and Bill Morrissey (1984 on the Reckless label) have in common?

They all sparked conversations at this morning's Morning Mixer presented by TD and hosted by Edward Jones – Rosemarie Kountz in Rye!

A huge thank you to Rosemarie and her team for welcoming our members and guests, and to TD Bank for making these valuable networking opportunities possible each month.

Special shoutout to Chamber Ambassador Shawn Shambo, whose icebreaker may go down as one for the recent history books: "What was the first album you bought with your own money?" Shawn was convinced the answer says something about a person—and judging by the stories, memories, and spirited discussions that followed, he may be onto something.

From classic rock and John Denver to pop icons and a few surprising deep cuts, the room was buzzing with connections before coffee cups were even empty.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to start the day with great conversation, new relationships, and a little musical nostalgia. We can't wait to see you at the next Morning Mixer!

Look—it’s Todd!

If you stop by the Visitors Center at 500 Market St. in Portsmouth, Todd just might be the one to greet you.

Along with our sweet team of Granite State Ambassadors and Visitor Assistants, he helps welcome visitors at the Visitors Center (and more staff our downtown information kiosk outside of Napoletana Pizzeria & Bar.)

We’re very fortunate!

A few things to know about Todd: he’s also a dedicated volunteer with the American Independence Center (new name!), the Gundalow Company, and Sail Portsmouth (see pic).

Thanks to his involvement with these organizations, he’s a great resource for local history, maritime heritage, and all the unique experiences that make Portsmouth special.

If you have questions about the area, there’s a good chance Todd has the answer!
