I feel so honored to be chosen as part of the flag passing detail for the most inspiring female Chief's I've ever worked with. I have the most utterly respect for this woman. She has taught me to be the fearless leader i am today, extremely hard working, reminded me of the good in this world we live in, and all the belly aching laughs we shared. Most importantly, she went out of her way to visit me multiple times while i was hospitalized (not to mention i was at my worst). That meant so much to me!
Congrats Chief Birt on retiring from the 142nd Air National Guard Base.

❤️🤍💙One of the best decisions ive made in my life is joining the Air National Guard. One of many reasons i love serving is that its has taught me sacrifice, camaraderie, discipline, mental strength, leadership skills, patience and more. In the last 10 years serving in the 163rd to the142nd, deployments, and TDY's, I've been so lucky to have met the most amazing and inspiring people who are still close to me to this day.
Thank you for your service to those who have served and are still serving.

I was able to capture the super moon just a few weeks ago as i was driving on to base. It was a perfect moment where the sun rise was just rising behind Mt. Hood and the Moon was still bright enough and visible to capture. Not to mention the location of the moon couldn't have been any better right by the static display.

Pictures from the McMinnville Air Show. I brought my son with me as i worked and he got to see all the cool jets and eat ice cream. I thought to myself man, i wish i got to go to an air show with front row seating when i was little.
