Oregon has successfully voted by mail for 30 years. Join LWVPDX on Sept. 14 for a special community education conversation with Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read and Director of Multnomah County Elections Tim Scott about the actions they have and are taking to combat federal attacks on our election system, protect voter privacy, counter disinformation, and ensure that our elections remain fair, accessible, and secure.
This program is free and open to the public, hosted at Wood Village City Hall and livestreamed on Zoom and cable TV. Space for the in-person event is limited; advance registration is necessary to attend in person or to receive the Zoom link. Learn more and register at lwvpdx.org/public-events.
Thanks to City of Wood Village, OR for hosting us, MetroEast Community Media for supporting the livestream on Zoom and cable, and the Carol and Velma Saling Foundation for funding our nonprofit and nonpartisan programs.
