Support Native-led climate solutions and stewardship 365 days a year — warming waters and other climate crises need answers, and Tribal nations continue to answer the call: caring for and managing the land. Shared prosperity for all us on this earth is earned through protecting its resources. Water needs our help! Follow The Water

In preparation for World Water Day 💧this Sunday, March 22, please join us by taking a moment to reflect on the waters that run through your day-to-day life. Take a moment to think about what fills your glass or all the life that lives at its banks🌱. What happens when our waters disappear? What actions can you take to restore and protect them?

Seeking input from subsistence huckleberry pickers:

The forest service is requesting tribal members to fill out this survey to determine how the 2025 huckleberry season went. It is vital that tribal input is provided because this survey will provide data to make a decision for commercial harvest permitting in the future.

Gifford Pinchot National Forest did not issue commercial huckleberry permits during the 2025 season. They are currently assessing the 2025 season and are giving an online opportunity for the public to provide feedback on the program and the season. This information, along with future meetings with participants in the commercial huckleberry program, will inform the process and program for the 2026 season and beyond.

Please use this link to the online form and this website for more information. We will send a press release and share the feedback form on our social media soon.
