Community & Adolescent Health

Community & Adolescent Health Community & Adolescent Health (CAH) is a public health program with Multnomah County. We focus on youth violence prevention and health education.

The Community & Adolescent Health (CAH) program is a part of the Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Unit of the Multnomah County Health Department. We work with schools, community-based organizations, and youth to prevent and reduce violence in our community. We give people tools to improve the places they live, learn, work, play and worship.

☀ SHARE WITH FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS: Even after the worst of the heat dissipates, people are urged to take steps to protect themselves including cooling their home, staying hydrated, and watching for signs of heat illness. Residents should check on their loved ones and community, especially people living alone and who don’t have access to good cooling.

✅Open windows when it's cooler outside than it is inside
✅Stay cool and hydrated with water
