Only a few more days left to finish the Talking is Teaching County-Wide Spring Scavenger Hunt! Don't miss the chance to claim your prizes. ☀️🌨️🌈🦋🌳
Talk, walk, and earn a prize at every library! The annual Talking is Teaching County-Wide Scavenger Hunt is kicking things off on Wednesday, April 1! All seven county libraries and the Ionia County ISD will offer this 8-week-long outdoor scavenger hunt to patrons in each community.

Visit your local library to pick up a scavenger hunt sheet today and continue your adventure in other communities too! Complete the hunt no later than Saturday, May 30 to receive 7 unique books. Contact Youth Librarian Eileen Pock at 517-647-6981 ext. 3 or [email protected] with questions!

Happening this Thursday and we still have space available!!!

Come hang out with Critical Hit Club to challenge friends and try out new games! Whether you’re a board game strategist, video game champion, or just ready to press start on something awesome, this club is for gamers of all kinds aged 10-18. Sign up at the Youth Desk to join the fun on Thursday, May 28 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Bonus power-up: Pizza dinner will be on us!

Last week, Book Cubs and their caregivers had their last in-person storytime of the spring quarter. Our 3-5 year olds had a sugary sweet adventure learning all about sweet treats! We read "Keith the Cat with the Magic Hat" and "Pie-Rats!", danced our wiggles out, sang silly songs, and talked about our favorite desserts. The little cubs also created their very own ice cream cone art!

This summer Book Cubs will learn all about the amazing world of dinosaurs! Keep an eye out for our summer calendar for registration and program times.

Today kicks off a busy week at the library with students from Oakwood Elementary stopping by for their annual spring tours!

We will have large groups of very excited visitors in the building at various times throughout the week. And the storytime room will be closed intermittently between now and Friday afternoon. Please excuse the extra noise as we work to instill a love of the library in our young visitors!
