A bag of trash left in the street. An abandoned cart returned. There is always a use for a truck. 1000 will steal, or litter one will collect and return. My dad was correct: "Always leave it better than you found it."

Mike o'callaghan's celebration of life. One of my favorite people who we lost last month to a poor decision at a railroad crossing on his bicycle.
He was a true protester never a rioter. He did some legal work that changed the world. Never destroying as rioters do, only using the courts to change behaviors.
He ran for mayor of Portland from his tree house near the Ross Island Bridge.
He was one of my rare financial supporters.
2 weeks before he died I met up with him and asked him if he was receiving my campaign contributions. He had signed up with some company that was advertising for him. But he didn't know of anything coming in through that. The day before he died he notified me that he was able to find the donations and collect them from the company.
He will always be missed.

Those of us out and about helping people living in tents often see abandoned carts. I return about three a year. Just one more way to help everyone involved in our government's mismanagement of housing

This week I went to the police impound to return one of the tiny houses made of vinyl on wheels back to its rightful place. I rented a trailer at Home Depot and it took three of us too get the house onto the trailer because the trailer was not wide enough. But I was able to do it back. Next time I'm going to get the smallest trailer at United Rentals. It costs a little more but the tiny house will roll right up on it.
I also had a Toyota Sienna donated so I spent the money to license and insure it. It's parked on the street and being lived in. So far no parking tickets by having it on side streets.

It's time to post this photo again. Sadly, almost all donations end up here. This is a photo I took inside Rapid Response Storage. It was 25 degrees out when I took this. Evictions and theft are called sweeps leading the public to believe that sweeping is a healthy response. But this sweeping is assault and attempted murder. Think of how many died or lost toes to frostbite while these lifesaving tents, bags and cooking gear was taken from the poor on the streets in a deadly sweep. I beg all to take photos of the storage area when the doors open and post them.
