Portland Fire & Rescue Station 7 (Mill Park)

Portland Fire & Rescue Station 7 (Mill Park) Portland Fire & Rescue Station 7 (Mill Park) Portland Fire & Rescue Station 7 is located in Portland's Mill Park Community.

In addition to Mill Park, Station 7 also responds into Hazelwood and Powellhurst Gilbert neighborhoods. It houses one fire engine and one fire truck each with 4 personnel. It is also home to Portland Fire's HazMat Team which covers areas of Multnomah and Columbia County. In addition, one of Portland Fire's four Battalion Chiefs is also housed here. Firefighters work a rotation of three shifts (A, B and C), each shift working 24 hours (8:00am - 8:00am the following day).

Police are investigating Thursday after someone vandalized Portland Fire & Rescue's main fire station along Naito Parkway. A KATU photographer at the scene says there is at least one broken window and several garage door panels were kicked in. This story is developing.

Portland Firefighters rescue family’s cat while on a residential fire at 8400 block of SE Lambert this evening. Fully involved kitchen fire was quickly extinguished by and the cat was carried out and given oxygen using equipment especially designed for animals. Last reports were that the cat was doing well.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- A firefighter was injured while battling a duplex fire in Southeast Portland Saturday afternoon.
