After seven years raising her four sons in a two-bedroom apartment, Ja’Nelle Samuels thought owning a home was out of reach.

Then she connected with Arrive.

With support from a housing counselor and an Individual Development Account that matched her savings, Ja’Nelle spent two years preparing to buy. This May, she got the keys to a home of her own — and something lasting to pass on to her sons.

“Homeownership means having something I can leave for my children. I always worry about if I were to have an untimely passing, where would my children end up? And now I know that they have a home.”
