For the 1.4 million Oregonians currently enrolled in Medicaid, the federal changes ahead could mean loss of coverage, reduced access to care and greater strain on already overburdened providers and hospitals across the state.

Preparing now could help soften the blow.

Join Oregon Health Forum at the University of Oregon Portland Campus to learn what’s coming and begin collaborating. For the first time, OHF will also offer a livestream so people across the state - and nation - can hear the strategies and ideas Oregon is putting forward.

Big changes to Medicaid are coming — and the impact will reach far beyond those enrolled. With 1.4 million Oregonians relying on the program, what happens next matters across the entire health care system.

But this isn’t just a panel — it’s a strategy session in collaboration with Oregon Health Authority and Comagine Health.

Who’s most at risk of losing coverage? What can be done now to reduce disruption and keep people connected to care? Learn the landscape from our panelists. In the room? Join the dialogue. Can’t be there? Listen in on the livestream.

Visit Oregon Health Forum to register for the event.

When a toothache hits, where do you go? For too many Oregonians, it’s the emergency room. Across the state, provider shortages and coverage gaps make routine dental care hard to access. For Oregon Health Plan members, it’s far worse: only one in four adults and fewer than half of children see a dentist each year.

Join Oregon Health Forum to explore how we got here — and what policy changes it will take to build a better system of care.

The aging population is growing, and public health has a critical role to play in shaping what healthy aging looks like for everyone.

We are excited to amplify the first-ever national Aging & Public Health Summit, hosted by Rede Group, a virtual two-day experience bringing together public health, prevention, behavioral health, and community health professionals from across the country.

📅 May 5-6, 2026 | Virtual | Open to all

This is a meaningful opportunity for public health professionals at every career stage to learn from field leaders, build interdisciplinary connections, and contribute to conversations that will shape the future of healthy aging. Topics span everything from ageism, social isolation, and behavioral health to climate adaptation, emergency preparedness, and transitions of care.

Whether you are just starting out in public health or have decades of experience, there is something here for you.

⭐Join us for A Shot in the Arm Movie Screening ⭐

Vaccine confidence is one of the most pressing public health conversations of our time, and it does not get easier when we stop talking about it.

We are proud to amplify this community event hosted by Oregon Families for Vaccines and Immunize Oregon: a free screening of "A Shot in the Arm," a documentary that takes an honest, nuanced look at vaccine hesitancy, both historically and in the context of our modern pandemic.

This is exactly the kind of community engagement public health needs more of. Not just preaching to the choir, but creating space for real conversation, healthy curiosity, and connection across differences of opinion.

📅 April 23, 2026 | 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Portland (venue shared upon RSVP)
🍕 Food and drinks provided
Space is limited, so RSVP soon.
