Our Story

The NE Indoor Park (NEIP) has a long history in the basement of Central Lutheran church! Several decades ago a group of folks came together to create a safe and dry play space for infants and young children and this park is that legacy. Once a co-op, the park is now managed by the congregation and serves as our nursery for Sunday morning worship, as well.

On February 20, 2019 we will re-open the Indoor Park after a major renovation project. With new carpet, new paint, and lots of hard work the Park will serve to bless the next generation of Portland’s children. We observe the following holiday closures for our staff: New Year's Day MLK Day President's Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Other park closures will be announced here on Facebook.
