🌽It’s corn!🌽
Okay, it’s not actually corn, although it sure does look the part. These sweet and buttery flowers are Lupinus polyphyllus, Westcountry™️’Desert Sun’ and are located right in the entry plaza. Come check them out this weekend while they’ve still got “the juice.” We are open today to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

We just love getting to hang out with other public gardens! Last week, the awesome team at The Oregon Garden donated their staff time to come work at Leach Botanical Garden. Together, we installed plants on the Woodland Hillside and cleaned up areas around the Far Meadow. We’re so thankful for our beautiful community and the love we share for this special place.

We were recently visited by plant health care students from Clackamas Community College who were on site to get a hands-on lesson in sonic tomography.

Sonic tomography is a method used to map the inside of trees, typically to assess hidden pockets of decay. Think of it like an ultrasound, but for trees. We were so impressed with this state of the art technology.

Thanks to Prunus and Clackamas Community College for coming out and teaching our team more about tree diagnostics. Collaboration makes us all stronger!
