Halloween 🎃 hits different this year

Remembering Victor Miller, the man who helped create one of horror’s most iconic nightmares! 🙏

Victor Miller, the original screenwriter of ‘FRIDAY THE 13TH’ and the creator credited with creating Jason Voorhees, has sadly passed away at the age of 86.

Miller’s screenplay for the original 1980 film helped launch one of the most recognizable horror franchises in history, introducing audiences to Camp Crystal Lake and the Voorhees family.

While Jason would eventually become the face of the franchise, Miller’s original story laid the foundation for everything that followed.

His work left an enormous mark on the slasher genre and horror culture, and his legacy will continue every time someone hears the name Jason Voorhees.
