Finch has a personality much bigger than his small frame, and the pitter-patter of his tiny feet can be often heard throughout the Hub.

Here is our Health & Hygiene schedule for the week.
🚿We will be at PDX Saints Love Day Center and El Jardín Recovery Center (Hillsboro) on Tuesday the 1st; WeShine Village and El Jardín Recovery Center (Portland) on Wednesday the 2nd; PDX Saints Love Day Center and Freedom Foursquare Church on Thursday the 3rd; and All Saints Episcopal on Saturday the 5th.
🧼Resources at all sites will be from 11 am - 2 pm. We will have showers, clean clothing, and hygiene products.
🚿The stationary hygiene hub located at Cultivate Initiatives (14625 SE Stark St.) is also open Monday through Friday this week, offering showers, hygiene resources, and laundry services. Those operating hours are 10:30 am - 3 pm Monday and Friday, and 9:30 am - 2 pm Tuesday-Thursday.
🩺 Our mobile health volunteers are on a pause this week, as our partnered nursing schools are on break. We will be welcoming a new cohort soon!

Big thanks to our friends at Rossi Farms for partnering with us and doing a work trade to use their amazing event space.

Through this partnership, neighbors in our workforce development program get hands-on experience with real farm work such as cultivating grape vines. This opportunity builds new skills, work experience, and connections at Portland's oldest family farm. It's the kind of opportunity that makes a real difference: meaningful work, a supportive environment, and a paycheck to show for it.

We're so grateful to the Rossi family for opening up their farm and investing in our community. Partnerships like this are what make workforce development actually work.

We are very excited to announce a new partnership that we are debuting between our Health & Hygiene Program and El Jardin Recovery Centers!

Starting next week, you can find our shower truck and Hygiene Team at El Jardin, offering services at both locations on a weekly basis. We appreciate everything that El Jardin does to support our community members in recovery, and we can't wait to get to know our neighbors at these two locations.

The bell rang for Noelia and Michelle!

After moving from our Safe Rest Village, these two incredible neighbors signed leases at Cultivate Commons—opening the door to a new chapter filled with stability, possibility, and hope.

Noelia and Michelle did the hard work. They kept moving forward, overcame barriers, & believed a different future was possible. Along the way, they had a safe place to rest and a community walking beside them.

This is what real transformation looks like. It happens when determination meets opportunity & when neighbors show up for each other. When someone gets the safety and support they need to take their next step.

Every meal served, every hour volunteered, every word of encouragement, and every dollar given to Cultivate helps make moments like this possible.

Today, we celebrate Noelia and Michelle—and the bright future waiting on the other side of that front door. Welcome home, neighbors. 💛🏠
