🎒 A Successful Day of Service, Unity & Community Impact

Today, On The Move Ministries With Jesus Outreach, in collaboration with Oregon & SW Washington African Community Development Center (OSWWACDC) through the Unity Community Care Network, successfully completed the 5th Annual Backpack Giveaway Festival at Knott City Park in Portland, Oregon.

Today was more than a backpack giveaway—it was a powerful demonstration of what can happen when community organizations come together with one heart, one purpose, and a commitment to serve.

We were honored to bring families and young people together for a day filled with fellowship, food, fun, music, haircuts, bicycles, food boxes, backpacks, and community resources. Most importantly, we created an environment where families felt welcomed, supported, and valued.

This event represents the vision behind the Unity Community Care Network:
bringing organizations, resources, and people together so that our communities can be served better.

Our collaborative work demonstrates that when we share our resources, talents, relationships, and commitment, we can accomplish far more together than we can separately.
