The Newton County School System is providing free summer meals for all children age 18 and under, served Monday through Thursday from June 1st – 25th at BC Crowell Park, Porterdale. Lunch will be available from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A daily mix of hot and cold items is offered, and children must be present and eat on-site.

☀️Summer meals are almost here! ☀️

Don’t forget — our Summer Meal Program begins tomorrow, June 1! We’re excited to continue serving nutritious meals to children throughout the summer.

The City of Porterdale would like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Georgia Power and Spectrum for removing the long-awaited poles hanging over the river walkway area. We appreciate the work completed to help improve the appearance and safety of our beautiful riverfront!
