🚨A Boil Water Advisory issued: 4303 -5649 Tiffin Street - Effective June 12, 2026 🚨

⚠️ What you need to know:
🔸 On June 12, a water main break occurred near 5545 Tiffin Street.
🔸 It became necessary to depressurize a section of the main to complete the repair.
🔸 Affected customers in the area are advised to boil their tap water for a minimum of one minute prior to use for drinking, brushing teeth, or cooking.

This precautionary measure ensures that all necessary steps, including flushing the water main and collecting bacteriological samples, are completed before lifting the advisory. A news release will be issued once the advisory is lifted.

Recognizing the federal holiday, Juneteenth (June 19, 1865) honors the anniversary and freedom of the last African Americans who were enslaved in the U.S.

To commemorate this significant date in our history and better understand the evolution of our nation and its people, visit Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park for an opportunity to reflect upon and learn about African American resilience and achievement.

Celebrate Freedom Day as you explore a "Garden of Hope," participate in the self-led tour, reflect on meditative benches, and view the interpretive kiosk.

» Friday, June 19 | During normal park hours
» Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park (1000 MLK Drive)
» FREE | No registration required - Featuring giveaways and free Juneteenth merchandise

Make sure to also stop by Portage City Hall the week of June 15 to check out the special Juneteenth Display in the lobby.
