All of us at Pride Care are so very sad to hear this. Mark Warnicke was a great friend, co-worker, employee, medic, and fire fighter. His passion for his job, patients, and everyone was seen daily. Mark had been a part of the ems and firefighting world for so many years, starting at Mall City, Westwood, then Pride Care. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Mark. Our thoughts and condolences to all of his family.

With a heavy heart we are sadden to announce that after 50 + years Pride Care will be ceasing operation as of midnight tonight. We will be assisting in a transition in anyway possible and are working to ensure the safety of the communities moving forward.

To all our loyal employees and members of Kalamazoo County.

It is with great sadness that Pride Care Ambulance must announce that after 55+ years our company will no longer be providing 911, emergency, and non emergency service calls in Kalamazoo County.

Thursday June 8th at 0730 our Kalamazoo division will be closing and Life Ems will be responding to all calls. To all of our Pride 1 members, Life Ems will be honoring your memberships.

Our offices and services on our West Side division will remain open and providing 911 services to our contracted areas.

Pride Care is forever grateful to the community and their support. It has truly been a pleasure to serve you.
