"Today, the state of Wisconsin joins dedicated individuals, advocates and organizations across the state, throughout the country, and around the world in raising awareness of elder abuse, taking action to address and prevent abuse, and encouraging all people to celebrate and appreciate the countless contributions of older adults and their role in the success of communities across the state."

May is National Foster Care Awareness Month.

Foster Care is temporary care provided in a licensed home for children who cannot live with their family for a period of time due to safety concerns, family crisis or other serious circumstances.

We believe every child deserves a safe, loving and supportive environment to grow and learn in. Without our foster families, this would not be possible.

This month we honor the incredible foster families who have opened their hearts and homes to children in our community.

These families allow a child the ability to remain at school with their friends and keep them connected to their community.
