To date we have awarded 118 LSLF Discovery Research Grants to innovative young investigators at prestigious medical institutions, presented 20 Grand Round Lectures at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, undertaken 85 marrow drives and have established a fully funded endowed Reseach Fellowship active at Memorial Sloan-Ketterng Cancer Center.

💛 Remembering Evelyn on What Would Have Been Her 95th Birthday 💛

Today June 17th, we pause to honor the birthday of our beloved president, Evelyn Strauss, who we lost just a few weeks ago.

Evelyn's story is one of unimaginable grief transformed into extraordinary love. After losing her daughter Lauri to leukemia at just 26 years old, Evelyn didn't let heartbreak have the final word — she built a foundation in Lauri's name and dedicated her life to fighting this disease so other families wouldn't have to face what she did.

For decades, her passion, resilience, and boundless heart guided the Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation. She would have been 95 years old this week — and her legacy is as alive as ever.

In honor of Evelyn's birthday, we're asking you to help carry her mission forward. A donation today is a tribute to her life and a gift to the countless patients and families who benefit from her life's work.
