Come Party with the Baxter’s Pond Foundation!
Join us on Shoreview Road on Sunday, May 3rd from 1:00 to 5:00 pm for our first BPF Block Party! There will be all of the things that make block parties so much fun—bouncers, games, relay races, food, drinks, neighbors, and friends—with a suggested ticket price of $40 per family to benefit the Baxter’s Pond Foundation.

On Saturday, April 25th, we will celebrate Earth Day in two ways:

(1) We’ll have a table at the Annual Earth Day Celebration from noon until 4:00 pm. Come find us, learn more about our work, and take part in a kid-friendly craft.

(2) We’ll co-host a “biobilitz” with youth activists, who will guide nature walks at Baxter’s Pond as part of the iNaturalist City Challenge. Participants will learn how to use the iNaturalist app to document the Pond & Park’s flora and fauna. By collecting data with our smartphones and uploading it to the iNaturalist database, we will be contributing to the world’s largest community science biodiversity census.

Join us to help build a clearer picture of our local ecosystems. Even a single observation contributes to a growing collective understanding of the living landscape around us and empowers care, restoration, and protection.
