7We are excited to invite you to our Spring 2026 Special Education Parent University. This event is open to all families who would like to learn more about special education in the Port Washington-Saukville School District, including those with a child who has an IEP.

The event will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Lincoln Elementary School.

During this session, families will learn more about the IEP process, how to prepare for and actively participate in IEP meetings, Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), the referral process, and available supports and resources. The goal of this event is to build understanding and strengthen the partnership between families and schools—an essential component of improving outcomes for students with disabilities.

Port Washington-Saukville Special education has launched a "Friends of Best Buddies " program. This is a program where staff will be present at specific community and school events to support our Special ed kids without having the parent present. This is a big blessing to our district and kids as they desire to be socially accepted with peers.
If your child wants to participate, please message me for details.

Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month is a reminder that love should always feel safe, respectful, and empowering. 🧡

Unhealthy behaviors—like controlling, threatening, or isolating—are never signs of love. Every teen deserves relationships built on trust, communication, and mutual respect.
If you or someone you know needs support, help is available. You’re not alone.
