The Artist Resource Help Desk (ARHD) provides professional guidance for artists seeking assistance with grants, proposals, presentations, marketing (newsletters, flyers, etc.) and connections to resources to support their creative practice. The program offers guidance and access to some cloud-based tools. Thursdays from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the PT Public Library.

Enjoy listening to homegrown music? The PT Public Library collects and preserves local music through its local music collection. The collection is focused on Port Townsend and Eastern Jefferson County musicians but also encompasses the Olympic Peninsula and the Pacific Northwest. Physical CDs are cataloged and made available to check out with your library card. Local musicians can drop off their CDs at the library.

What Can I Bring to the Compost Facility? If you are dropping off yard debris at the Compost Facility as the fall season starts, please keep in mind the acceptable forms of yard debris: Grass clippings, leaves, shrubs, branches less than 8’ long and less than 10” in diameter, tree trimmings, and weeds. We cannot accept: Demolition lumber, dirt, food scraps/waste, plastic bags, rocks and gravel and sod stumps. Please do not dump your trash into the yard debris pile. The Compost Facility is located at 603 County Landfill Road and is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
