We are incredibly thankful for the community partners who come alongside Care Net to help us serve moms and families with compassion, hope, and practical support. Because of your generosity, encouragement, and faithfulness, women in our community are reminded that they are not alone.

Every donation, partnership, prayer, and act of kindness becomes a blessing to the moms we serve. We are grateful for a community that continues to show up with love and support.

Today some unsung heroes took care of Care Net’s RAT problem! You read that right. We’ve had a rat problem. The back of our property is lined with Australian pine trees. The trees branches stretch way out over our metal roof and drop acidic Pine needles onto the roof. The acidic Pine needles do what acidic Pine needles do—eat away at the metal. The rats get through the holes and drop into our carefully laid fiberglass insulation. They die there. It has been an ongoing problem.

Today’s heroes climbed up those pine trees, chopped off the branches and lapped off the top of those trees! No more leaky roof and no more icky rats.

Before you ask why we didn’t chop down the trees, they’re not ours. Duh!

These men are Heroes—one and all! From the bottom of our eeky hearts, we are grateful!

What a joy to honor and lift up our volunteers at our Care Net Volunteer Appreciation Dinner last night. They are a vital piece of the big picture! We laughed, we enjoyed a delicious baked potato bar, and we gave gifts. Thank you for all you do!
