"The Hank Aaron Invitational is hosted annually at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Fla. Approximately 250 players (ages 13-18) from across the United States will receive elite-level training from former Major League players and coaches. Previous event instructors have included former Major League manager Jerry Manuel, Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., Eric Davis, Marquis Grissom, Reggie Smith, Mike Harkey, Howie Kendrick, Bo Porter, and many other accomplished baseball leaders.
The event combines elite instruction, competitive games, educational programming, and guest speakers to provide participants with a comprehensive look at what it takes to succeed at the collegiate and professional levels. Throughout the experience, players attend sessions focused on college eligibility, leadership, player development, and the resources available to help them continue their growth both on and off the field.
The Hank Aaron Invitational is a grant-supported event of the Florida Sports Foundation, the official sports promotion and development organization of the State of Florida.
The Florida Sports Foundation grant program is made possible through the sale of 10 Florida Professional Sports team license plates.
