Re-elect Scott Diener for Port Orchard City Council Scott Diener for re-election for Port Orchard City Council Position #3. Scott is a non-partisan – self-funded candidate.

Scott Diener (Nonpartisan), a 15 year Port Orchard resident, was appointed to the Port Orchard City Council in 2016 and elected in 2018. He is asking for your vote to be re-elected to Position 3 on the Port Orchard City Council in 2021. As a council member, Scott currently serves on the Land Use Committee and the Transportation Committee and is past member of the Utilities Committee and the Sewer

Advisory Committee with West Sound Utility District. Scott’s other professional experience includes Manager, Development Services and Engineering, Department of Community Development, Kitsap County. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon, 1988, Baccalaureate’s in Planning, Public Policy and Management. Scott Diener has lived in Port Orchard since 2005. He has almost 30 years’ planning experience at both the city and county level. He has worked in various leadership positions with the Kitsap County Department of Community Development since 2005. Scott and his wife, Susan Lomow, have two South Kitsap High School students, Josh and Sammi. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time and recreating in and around Port Orchard.

"In the upcoming municipal election, three City Council incumbents — Fred Chang, Scott Diener and Jay Rosapepe — are deserving of reelection. They are thoughtful public servants who do their homework about important issues in order to ask pertinent questions and arrive at policy solutions.

There’s a candidate for the council’s at-large position, Mark Trenary, who has a lengthy record as a small business owner and civic volunteer in South Kitsap. He deserves election to that post."
