Smoke detectors save lives. It’s that simple.

Having working smoke detectors in your home gives you early warning when seconds matter most—alerting you to a fire while there’s still time to get out safely. Most fatal home fires happen at night, when people are asleep. A properly placed, working smoke detector can be the difference between a close call and a tragedy.

Make sure you have smoke detectors on every level of your home, outside sleeping areas, and inside bedrooms. Test them monthly, change the batteries at least once a year, and replace the entire unit every 10 years.

Take a few minutes today to check your detectors—it’s a small step that can protect your family and your home. 🔥🚨
