Busy day for us at the Port Leyden Fire Department! First off, we’d like to thank everyone for donating to our boot drive! 💰 You’re all amazing! Every penny counts! We use this towards our turnout gear! Also, thank you to the two ladies that donated the donuts and cookies! Called it quits as the tones went off, 🚨 we had to set up for an emergency landing zone for a call. Now back to work! We’re building a new track for our tractor pullers! Thanks to all the volunteers who came out and helped today! Greatly appreciated! Turned out to be a beautiful day! 🚒 🚑

For this tractor pull, we are looking for sponsors for the Tractor Pull trophies 🏆

The photo is what we will be purchasing! 🤟🏼We will be ordering 51 total trophies for the tractor pulls, so any support would be appreciated!! There’s a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each class!

We’ll gladly add your name to our Facebook posts, and if you have a ground push in sign or banner, we will put it somewhere near the tractor pulls area!!

Our Tractor Pull trophies cost nearly $500 and we will post the invoice. We would like to have (5) - $100. sponsors if possible to cover the costs of the trophies.

Last night we were dispatched to Whitton Place apartment building in Port Leyden for a working structure fire.

Upon arrival, all volunteers worked together to fight the blaze and moved quickly and efficiently through the night to get it under control. All 5 volunteer agencies worked as one team for the same cause seamlessly.

Thank you Constableville, Turin, Lyons Falls, and Boonville for all of your help! 🚒 🚑 💦 Also thank you to our ladies Auxiliary for the refreshments. And all other generous bystanders that donated refreshments! You’re life savers! 🥰

Our prayers go out to the people who lost their homes and belongings in this fire! And also so grateful they all made it out safely! Our hearts go out to you. ♥️
