I know many of you in Precinct 2 already know me, but for those of you that don’t, my name is Ronny Best. I have been at Precinct 2 for close to 27 years now. At 49 years old I have worked almost half of my life here at Calhoun County Precinct 2. I started out as a part time worker in high school and worked my way up to foreman. I held that position for about 19 years. Just a little over a year ago I was appointed to Commissioner.

I would like to continue to be your Commissioner for several reasons. First, I care deeply for the people that live in my precinct and I have great relationships with many of you. Second, there is a couple of major drainage project grants that got started before I came into office, and I would like to see those completed to try and prevent the flooding catastrophes that we have seen in the past. Last but not least, I want to make sure Calhoun County Precinct 2 is one of the nicest and safest places to live in Calhoun County.

I would like to thank those of you that have expressed your support and I would like to win the support of all of my constituents. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions give me a call or come by the office. My door is always open.
