SCWA is responding to an emergency road repair currently.
Barnum Avenue will be closed between Rossner Lane and West Broadway.
At this time, there is no estimated reopening time.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and avoid the affected area. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while repairs are being completed

Please be advised that we are anticipating flooding on several streets in and around our community due to heavy rainfall and coastal high tide.

If possible, please avoid driving or walking through flooded roadways, as water levels may be deeper than they appear and conditions can change quickly.
We encourage everyone to use caution, allow extra travel time, and monitor local weather updates. If you encounter a flooded street, turn around and choose an alternate route.

Our team is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
If you notice significant flooding or a safety concern within the community, please report it to Code Enforcement: 631-774-0066

On Friday, September 11, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., the Village will join the Vigiano Brothers and Captain Kathy Mazza Lodges for their annual tribute.
As part of the evening, we will formally dedicate Port Jefferson’s 9/11 Memorial Eagle, which will be placed near the pergola and pier at Harborfront Park for this important anniversary
