The Christopher J. Malvetti Fund is dedicated to the memory of Chris by his family, friends, fellow firefighters and co-workers.

Its purpose is to honor his lifelong spirit of caring and giving to the community.

December 15th marked the end of our first-ever fundraising drive. We are so pleased to announce that not only did your generous donations amount to over $11,000, but our donor exceeded the match amount and donated $15,000 in Chris’ memory! Thank you to each and every one of you who contributed. We are very excited to continue to give scholarships and donations in Chris’ memory in 2025 and the years to come!

Before 2024 comes to an end, we would like to acknowledge our 2024 scholarship recipients again! We are so grateful to be able to continue to give scholarships and donations in Chris’ memory. The 2025 scholarship will be available in the new year!

We are very excited to announce our first-ever fundraising drive!
Over the last 17 years, we have received a generous outpouring of donations in Chris' memory. Whether it was from our annual family walk/run, Checkmate fundraiser, or various personal donations, we have been able to provide over $50,000 in scholarships to over 40 individuals.
We are looking to continue to keep Chris' memory alive and provide more scholarships in the coming years. To do so, we are holding a fundraising drive from now until December 15th. One of the fund's biggest supporters has generously pledged to match all donations made during this period. Please consider making a donation in Chris' memory!
