This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. We also keep their families in our thoughts and prayers as we reflect on the true meaning of this day.

May their legacy continue to inspire us all. We are forever grateful for their service, sacrifice, and love for our nation.

Cameron County Constable Precinct 1 Deputies are currently on site at the free produce event taking place right now at the Cameron County Precinct 1 Public Works Building in Brownsville.

Our deputies are there to help keep everyone safe, assist with traffic flow, and ensure the event runs smoothly for all families attending. We’re proud to serve our community and support events that help local residents.

Today, Cameron County Constable Precinct 1 Constable Norman W. Esquivel Jr. is standing alongside the family of Fallen Deputy Ruben Garcia in Washington, D.C. for the National Police Officer Memorial Service taking place today at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.

As we honor Deputy Garcia’s sacrifice and remember all fallen heroes who gave their lives in the line of duty, we ask everyone to keep their families, friends, and brothers and sisters in blue in your prayers during this solemn day of remembrance.

Today, May 15th, is officially National Peace Officers Memorial Day. Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We especially remember our fallen brother, Deputy Ruben Garcia, whose service, courage, and dedication will never be forgotten. May we continue to honor his legacy and all peace officers who gave their all for their communities and this nation.

During National Police Week, we proudly honor the brave men of the Cameron County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office who put on the badge each and every day to serve and protect our community.

To our Precinct 1 Deputies, thank you for your hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to keeping our citizens safe. Your service does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the long hours, the professionalism, and the heart you bring to this profession.

We also remember and honor our fallen Deputy Ruben Garcia, along with all fallen law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage, service, and legacy will never be forgotten.
