We are humbled and proud to announce the outcome of our 2026 Golf Outing with you all.

We couldn't have done any of it without St. Clair County VA Staff, their very hard work on the days leading up to and during the event. Thank you all for the patience and support!

A special thanks to our Golf Outing Committee as well in helping to plan, organize, and teach someone who knows nothing of golf how to ensure all of our participants had a great time on the course.

We asked and the community answered, understanding the importance of this fundraising event for our local veterans.

Thank you to the Port Huron Elk's Lodge 343 for hosting and making this a truly special day! The course was beautiful, the food was great and staff were attentive, efficient and helpful throughout the event.

The moment you walk into the Elk's Lodge you feel their love, honor and respect for our nation's veterans and their families. We couldn't have asked for a better home for this event.

We would also like to thank at this those who gave their time, effort and generous donations towards making our silent auction a huge success. Together, $1,040 was raised as a result of donations from the following:

Sarenity Tattoo and Piercings
St. Clair County Community Mental Health
Dots Candy Bar
Women’s Life Chapter 836
St. Clair Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram
Michigan Lottery
Carl's Golf Land
Golf Country
Golf Galaxy
Bedrock Kitchen and Bath, LLC
Kimberly Brier
Michelle Kantz
Obscurus Strength and Fitness
The St. Clair Inn

With the introduction of the "String Game" this year, we were able to add an additional $1045.00 to our earnings!

In total, we as a team were able to raise (with those totals above included) $10,289.70 for the St. Clair County Department of Veterans Affairs Emergency Relief Fund!

Your support and participation allow those who find themselves in need of emergency financial relief to have an opportunity to get back on square footing in times of emergency financial crises.

Today, Detroit VA joins our community and the nation in observing Patriot Day and the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
We remember the lives lost, honor the courage of the first responders and recognize the Veterans and service members who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, VA’s National Day of Service and Remembrance will bring together volunteers at 144 participating national cemeteries across the country.
