Our friend’s at Mid City Nutrition have received a grant to educate and distribute adaptive cutlery to those who may benefit from using it. Please contact them at 810-982-9535 to register. Space is limited.

Another upcoming class!

If you have issues with grip strength or tremor, it makes the very act of eating difficult. Weighted cutlery helps some people have better control while they eat, but can be pricey. Come try out a spoon and fork in a friendly environment, and if they work well for you you can keep the set!

We have started offering this cutlery to guests who may need it in our dining room, and the guest who has tried it out found it helps. You may too!

Make sure to call and register as we are limited in the number of sets we have. 810-982-9535

May is older Americans Month. We are proud to work with The Commission on Aging and the other funded agencies to improve the lives of county seniors.

May is Older Americans Month, a time to recognize the contributions, experiences, and importance of older adults in our communities.

Supporting Seniors. Strengthening Community.

The St. Clair County Commission on Aging works to support independence, health, and quality of life for residents age 60+ through programs funded by the Senior Citizens’ Millage.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing information about programs, services, and community resources available to older adults throughout St. Clair County.
