What a weekend! The past three days have been absolutely incredible. I want to take a moment to recognize and thank the many people who worked hard behind the scenes, and those who came out to make these events so special.

First and foremost, THANK YOU to all of the amazing bands and musicians who entertained us throughout the weekend.

A tremendous thank you to all of our vendors who came out and supported the weekend. We appreciate every one of you for bringing your businesses, food, crafts, and services to our community.

A very special thank you to the Moriah Chamber of Commerce, the outstanding men who cooked the best chicken BBQ, Trish Montgomery, the Jaquish Family, and Bridgeview Harbour Marina for everything you did to help make this weekend such a tremendous success. Your support, hard work, and dedication to the Town of Moriah did not go unnoticed!

I also want to recognize our incredible Town of Moriah employees who worked tirelessly to make sure everything was ready and running smoothly:

๐Ÿ‘ Building & Grounds Department
๐Ÿ‘ Campground Crew
๐Ÿ‘ Highway Department
๐Ÿ‘ The Ladies from the Town Hall and councilman Curran.๏ฟผ

So many hours of preparation, setup, cleanup, traffic control, logistics, and everything in between went into making this weekend happen. You all went above and beyond, and I cannot thank you enough!

A huge THANK YOU to our Port Henry Fire Department, the Essex County Sheriffโ€™s Department, and the New York State Police for helping keep everyone safe.

To the parade participants โ€” THANK YOU! The parade was absolutely incredible, and the time and effort everyone put into their floats, vehicles, groups, and displays helped make it one of the highlights of the weekend.

Finally, and most importantly, THANK YOU TO THE PUBLIC!

The tremendous turnout we saw this weekend was absolutely amazing. Seeing so many families, residents, visitors, and friends coming together to enjoy everything our community has to offer is exactly what these events are all about.

From the music and vendors, to the festival, parade, fireworks, races, BBQ, and everything in between, this weekend showed just how special the Town of Moriah truly is.

As you can see, there were so many people who played a part in making this Labor Day weekend such a success, and I sincerely apologize if I missed anyone. Please know that every contribution, big or small, was appreciated.

As Town Supervisor, I could not be more proud of our community and the people who continue to make the Town of Moriah such a great place to live, work, and visit.

What an incredible three days. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did!

Until next time โ€” thank you for making Labor Day Weekend in the Town of Moriah one to remember!
