The Iron Center will open for the season on June 18th. Hours of operation for the season will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 12:30pm-3pm.

It’s going to be very hot and humid especially Friday! If anyone needs some A/C please check out one of the cooling centers around the county.

It is important to stay cool when temperatures are high, especially during several hot days in a row. Spending a few hours a day in air conditioning during extreme heat, can prevent or reduce heat-related illness and heat stress. Essex County has designated cooling centers for community members, please use the link to locate a center near you.

National Grid will have a power outage tomorrow from 9am-1pm from Harlands Funeral home south on 9n22 up Edgemount Road and Lake View Avenue. Unfortunately I don’t have any other information to share besides that.
