We have many hundreds of newly donated books and CDs available until 2 pm Saturday and Noon-3 on Sunday.

Sherman Free Library Labor Day Basket Raffle & Book Sale This Weekend!

Celebrate Labor Day, win great prizes, and help support our library!

BASKET RAFFLE

Buy tickets at the Library:
Thursday, September 3, 1-7pm
Friday, September 4, Noon – 5pm
Saturday, September 5, 10am – 2pm
Sunday, September 6, Noon– 3pm
Tickets are only $10 for a sheet of 25!
Drawings will be held at 3pm on Sunday.
Baskets contain gift cards and items generously donated by local businesses and community members.
Please email [email protected] if you would like to donate a basket or items for a basket.

BOOK SALE

Books will be available throughout the Basket Raffle weekend, Thursday - Sunday.

If you have books you would like to donate, please first check our donations page for items we are able to accept:

and then drop your books off during normal library hours.

In order to make space for all the new books donated to our Book Sale & Basket Raffle this coming week we have had to clear out some that have been in the sale for a while.

This lovely dragonfly came in the library today but, after remembering that compound eyes are bad for reading, wanted to be back outside.

A little help was needed as it's hard to fly out through the sunny window.

Released and last seen flying twords the lake for some insect snacks.
